DESCRIPTION:Paediatric Biobanking and Minor Engagement – an interactive workshop\nThe second stop of our EBW22 Roadshow will be in Rome (Italy)\, 13-14 October. \nESBB and BBMRI-ERIC organise this #EBW22 Roadshow stop in partnership with the BBMRI ERIC Stakeholder Forum Patient Pillar\, BBMRI.it\, the Research Translational (IRCCS) Paediatric Bambino Gesù Hospital\, and the paediatric network IDEA. \nPaediatric (research) biobanking is a European priority asking for a scientific and Ethical-Legal-Societal-ELS shift within a Responsible Research & Innovation – RRI framework. DESCRIPTION:Dear Ladies and Gentlemen\,\nDear colleagues\, \nBillions of microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses colonise the body and influence human health. The so-called microbiome is not only found in the intestine\, microorganisms are also found in the mouth\, in the lungs or on the skin. Comparing the number of human body cells with the number of microbes\, the small organisms are clearly in the majority.\nIn recent years\, the microbiome has increasingly become the focus of research\, sometimes even referred to as “microbiomania”. The end goal of EU-AMRI\, the European Alliance of Medical Research Infrastructures\, is to make it easier for the broader research community to achieve their goals by delivering scientific services with the highest standards of quality and reproducibility. \nOn the morning of 5 April 2022 (10:00 – 12:30 CET)\, EU-AMRI will be formally launched in Brussels. DESCRIPTION:The HBP and EBRAINS together with the EAN invite the entire scientific community to join the forthcoming workshop on the Future of Medical Data Sharing in Clinical Neurosciences. This event aims at exposing and openly discussing all issues and challenges associated with data sharing in Europe\, from ethics to data safety and privacy\, including those specific to data federation\, such as the development and validation of federated algorithms.
