The pre-analytical phase is crucial when handling specimen. Issues that arise even before samples arrive in the laboratory and further route to the biobank play an important role. Errors can occur during the pre-analytical phase with specimen handling and identification. Therefore, the pre-analytical phase must have strict quality assurance and control measures in place to prevent errors and allow qualification of samples for research protocols.
Key expert Dr. Łukasz Kozera will present in this webinar the most novel key elements of phlebotomy, coordinated laboratory and biobanking activities including patient preparation and the science behind the pre-analytical phase; these are currently important and will play an even more important role in the future of biomedical research. Dr. Kozera will provide balanced content between the latest science and good everyday practice.
