Access to biological samples: use and implementation of BBMRI tools

Co-organised by Instituto Superiore di Sanità and BBMRI.it, a conference titled “Access to biological samples: use and implementation of BBMRI tools” is set to take place in Rome on 6th February 2018.

Seeing as access to samples is one of the central issues in biobanking, the event will focus on the IT tools developed by BBMRI-ERIC and how they can help gain access to samples. The idea is to provide both potential users, i.e. researchers or anyone else interested in obtaining samples for research purposes, and providers, i.e. biobanks and other institutions involved in the collection and preservation of biological samples for research purposes, with detailed information on how to use the IT tools provided by BBMRI-ERIC.
