Europe Biobank Week Roadshow

ESBB and BBMRI-ERIC are delighted to announce a new, common community engagement activity, our EUROPE BIOBANK WEEK ROADSHOW. The EBW Roadshow consists of a series of smaller and regional face-to-face events covering a fine selection of hot topics in biobanking. We’ll bring EBW on the road and invite you to join us for high quality scientific programs, opportunities to meet and discuss with your peers, and exchange with companies at exhibitions. Our topic forecast covers Quality in Biobanking (Germany), Paediatrics (Italy), and Information Technology (Austria). While we focus on the EBW ROADSHOW this year, we are planning to relaunch our successful face-to-face EBW congress in spring 2023; hereby mitigating risks due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic.

The first stop of our EBW22 Roadshow will be in Regensburg (GERMANY) September 19 – 20. This EBW22 Roadshow meeting is organized by ESBB and BBMRI-ERIC in partnership with the University of Regensburg, the “1. Bavarian Biobank Day” and the BRoTHER Summer School. The focus will be on the manifold aspects of Quality in Biobanking. If you are curious about what is needed for accreditation or if you want to hear about pre-analytical challenges, or other important quality aspects of biobanking, do not miss this event!
